Cardi B’s latest red carpet ensemble has people crowing about her daring sense of style.
On July 7, the rapper turned heads as she arrived at the Schiaparelli fall 2025 show during Paris Haute Couture Week with a feathered friend — a live crow — by her side.
The 32-year-old donned a striking, structural black and cream floor-length gown featuring asymmetrical tassels and architectural, extra-long pointed shoulders for the occasion. The gown made its debut during Schiaparelli’s spring 2024 Couture Week show.
She paired the look with black heels, drop earrings and a sleek hairstyle.
In video footage from the red carpet, posted by NSS Magazine,Cardi B walks down several steps as she holds a crow. After the bird flaps its wings a bit, the rapper can be heard saying, “Can you tell them not to scream?”
The performer was seemingly referring to the crowd of photographers and onlookers whose cheers seemed to disturb the bird.
In other video footage provided by iHeartRadio, Cardi B warned photographers that the bird was skittish, saying, “Don’t scare him. You can’t scream.”
Cardi B posed for several photos with the bird, who was tethered to a wire and chain. In one picture, she holds the bird up in the air as she strikes a pose against a gilded backdrop.

Cardi’s appreciation of the dark feathered birds comes as no surprise — ravens and crows have featured prominently in the artist’s rollout for her upcoming sophomore album, Am I the Drama?
The album’s cover saw the rapper having yet another major fashion moment. She wore an ornate red Han Kjøbenhavn bodysuit with red fishnet tights and bold Vivienne Westwood heels. The dramatic look also featured accessories by Swarovski. Elsewhere in the album art, Cardi was surrounded by a fleet of black birds flying in a cloudy blue sky.
Social media users had mixed reactions to the viral moment. Some were amused, including one X user who commented, “cardi brought a live crow on leash with her to the schiaparelli show …… she’s always fully committing to a look love that.”
Another called the move “ICONIC.”
One X user reacted to the moment, saying, “Cardi telling the photographers to stop yelling while she’s yelling next to the crow.”
Still, some social media users weren’t impressed, including one who commented, “How sad using live animals in noisy unstable environments.”
