Hailee Steinfeld is officially a mom!
Hailee Steinfeld, 29, has welcomed her first child a baby girl with her husband, Josh Allen. The actress shared the joyful news in a Substack post titled “Special Delivery,” writing, “Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
The couple first announced they were expecting in December. In celebration of her 29th birthday, Steinfeld shared a collection of 29 meaningful moments from the past year in her Substack newsletter. The final entry included a video revealing her pregnancy, showing her posing in the snow while Allen affectionately kissed her baby bump. The pair later posted the video jointly on Instagram, where Allen commented, “I love you ❤️.”
In a January press conference, Allen expressed his excitement about becoming a father, describing it as the most important role of his life. While he emphasized his passion for football and his position as quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, he noted that fatherhood would take precedence.
Steinfeld has also reflected on her journey into motherhood. In a Substack post titled “Getting ducks in a row” for her newsletter Beau Society, she described the profound emotional shift she has experienced, writing about the “surreal, full-body awareness” of their lives expanding and the anticipation of meeting someone they already deeply love.
The couple, who began dating in 2023, were married on May 31 in Santa Barbara, California.
