Jessie J has opened up about her breast cancer journey as she shared emotional photos post-surgery.
Earlier this month, in a candid video to her social media, the 37-year-old revealed she had spent the last few months “in and out of tests.”
Speaking to her followers, the singer captioned the post: “No (more) Secrets and is it too soon to do a remix called ‘Living my breast life’?”
Now, in a candid post to her followers, the singer shared some behind-the-scenes updates after she underwent surgery.
Alongside snaps and clips from the hospital, Jessie wrote: “‼️Blood warning‼️This post is some of the honest lows and highs of the last 48 hours. I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through.”
“Grateful to my doctor / surgeon and all the nurses who cared for me and all my family / friends who came to visit. 🫂 I am home now, to rest and wait for my results 🤞🏻
Chanan is in a nurse outfit. No no, he isn’t, but funny to imagine.”
“Still hugging everyone going through something tough right now. We all got this! 🫂🫀🔋”
Other footage revealed Jessie’s joy when her two-year-old son, Sky, was permitted to visit, and Chanan Safir Colman, her partner, was also seen kissing her as she got ready for surgery.
Last week, in a final appearance before she “took a break” for treatment, the singer vowed to “beat breast cancer.”
The 37-year-old, who took the stage at Capital’s Summertime Ball, added that it would be her final performance before her surgery.

The singer said at the time: “Today, this show, is my last show before I go and beat breast cancer. This is so special to me, you have no idea.”
“I feel so proud to be feeling okay, to be this honest person where you say what you feel, and this being my last show before I go and have surgery. This is the most special thing and I’m so grateful for this life, for you guys, for my career, my son, my partner, my parents, my family, my band, my crew, my people,” she said in an emotional speech.
